Astrological “Boot Camp” for Spiritual Aspirants

A two day workshop presented by Bob Mulligan

Saturday and Sunday – June 3rd and 4th 2017

10 AM to 6 PM – both days

Cost of the 2 day workshop is $195. (You can pay by credit card, cash, or check.)

Loction: 1536 N.E. 18th Avenue, Ft. Lauderdale, FL  33304

This workshop contains all the critical theoretical material that I have personally worked with in my own life and in the lives of my clients during the last 43 years. We will demonstrate practical applications for every concept; in the life of the spirit, theory means very little if not put into practice.

Questions are encouraged throughout the workshop; none are too basic or too technical.  Your understanding of both astrology and yourself will expand greatly. So that everyone gets the attention they deserve, the class size is limited to 20 participants.  Registration must be received by May 31st so that you are included in the prep work.  There is a short interview process at the time of registration.

More description of this workshop

There is a massive amount of material that lies behind the work that we are doing over this weekend.  These ten classes give the entire theoretical framework for analyzing and unfolding the spiritual potential in a horoscope.

We look to our own birth chart for self understanding.  But a birth chart is not just a vision into the mechanical working out of karma.  No, it is more than that.  It gives instructions for how our consciousness, which is beyond the reach of the stars, can meaningfully interact with the circumstances that we find ourselves in now. The slow, inevitable grinding out of the wheel of karma shows the continuing process of our soul’s journey through creation.  Once our individualized soul realizes that there is a journey, we become aware that we are more than we experience.  The process of returning to God, the Source, our Real Self, to wholeness, is a path of removing the obstacles to our awareness.  This is like removing the scaffolding that surrounds a great building; necessary for its construction, but once the temple is built, the scaffolding gets in the way of enjoying the beauty of the building.  This process of removal is the spiritual path.

Astrology has a descriptive and prescriptive role to play in helping us tread the spiritual path.  First, astrology perfectly describes the karmic circumstances that we find ourselves in.  Our past actions and reactions have created our present circumstances.  Once we understand the nature of our current life, the nature of our personality, the type of events we will have, and the fundamental thrust of our desire nature, astrology can become the consummate guide, helping us overcome the obstacles and free our spirit and help us to reach our goal.  Our chart shows how things begin, continue, and then disappear: Brahma, Vishnu, Shiva.  And so it is with everything.

Workshop Class descriptions:

Saturday

Unlocking Your Spiritual Potential: This is the nuts and bolts of how to look at a chart for spiritual potential.   Each ingredient in the chart (signs, houses, planets, and aspects) reveals information regarding our spiritual potential.

Astrology, Yoga, and Service: Our horoscope shows how common activities strengthen or weaken our consciousness.  All sided progress comes through structuring our lives with positive habits.

Tuning in to the Cosmos: There are basic techniques of timing for spiritual transformation.  This is how the lunar cycle, planetary transits, annual cycles, and daily timing, can be integrated with personal cycles in one’s chart.

Astrology as a Path of Love: Astrology is not exclusively a mental discipline. Balancing head and heart allows us to translate ideas into practice. Correctly practiced, astrology unleashes the emotional power to advance in consciousness.

Saturn as our Friend: Saturn, lord of karma, has many different manifestations within our horoscope.  Karma is not a blockage but our friend, giving us unrelenting help on our spiritual journey.  Saturn renders specific instructions showing us how to move forward.

Sunday

Mercury and the Finite Ego-Mind: Our personal identity and thought process is Mercury.  He imposes and leads us to overcome restrictions.  Mercury’s alignment to the Sun mirrors the mind/ego relationship.  He points to liberation.

Jupiter and Our Higher Consciousness: Jupiter contains all the wisdom we have collected through millions of incarnations.  He is our ally on the path to perfection. Jupiter shows traps and tricks on the path.  This god-friend is our higher self.

Astrology, Karma, and Reincarnation: Our circumstances now are created by past incarnations.  Understanding karma allows us to be more effective in this life.  Astrological knowledge prescribes methods for course corrections.

The Hierarchy of Planets: The three Trans-Saturnine planets show the development of civilization. Saturn and Jupiter show the timing within society.  These five planets create our external environment. Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, and Mars show how we can mitigate our personal karma.

Your Birth Chart as a Spiritual Road Map: Information from our chart can enable us to grow spiritually.   The birth chart is a spiritual road map moving us toward wholeness. Our chart shows that what we ourselves have created is inherently good. From Saturn (limitation) and Mars (desire) we are able to construct reliable strategies for transcending personal limitations.
